Exploration on the performance evaluation system of standardized training of general residents for trainers

Abstract:This research aims to mobilize the subjective initiative of resident physicians in standardized training of resident physicians, stimulate teaching enthusiasm, cultivate high-level teachers, and further improve the quality of standardized training of resident physicians by establishing a performance evaluation system for instructing physicians suitable for standardized training of general resident physicians. This article adopts the literature analysis method, according to the requirements of the national and Beijing various documents and inspection rules for the faculty and training process, combined with the characteristics of general practitioner training, constructs a general resident doctor standardized training guidance doctor performance evaluation system, including two first-level indicators (including job performance and teaching activities), five second-level indicators (including teaching director, teaching secretary, instructor, outpatient teaching activities, ward teaching activities) and 14 third-level indicators (including medical record modification, Mini-CEX assessment, etc.), and set up detailed scoring rules for each evaluation index. The assessment system is used on a pilot basis in a tertiary general hospital in Beijing, and the results show that it has the characteristics of applicability and practicality. On the basis of the performance evaluation of this study, the formation of a scientific reward and punishment mechanism and the introduction of an appropriate competition mechanism will help to promote the overall development of the teacher system, improve the enthusiasm and consciousness of teaching, and ensure the training quality of residents.
