Abstract:Objective To study the correlation between serum N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), apolipoprotein A (ApoA), apolipoprotein B (ApoB) and the degree of coronary artery stenosis. Methods A total of 100 patients with coronary artery disease admitted to Bozhou People’s Hospital from June 2018 to September 2019 were enrolled. According to the degree of coronary artery stenosis, they were divided into mild stenosis group (34 cases) and moderate stenosis group (39 cases), severe stenosis group (27 cases), while another 40 cases of outpatient health examination during the same period were selected as the control group. The serum NT-proBNP, ApoA, ApoB, ApoB/ApoA, total cholesterol (TC), triacylglycerol (TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), white blood cell count (WBC), platelet count (PLT), red blood cell count (RBC), hemoglobin (Hb), hematocrit (HCT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and total bilirubin (TBil) level of four groups were compared, while the correlation between the above indicators and the degree of coronary artery stenosis were analyzed. Results Serum NT-proBNP, ApoA, ApoB, ApoB/ApoA, TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C, AST and ALT levels were compared in each group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Gensini score was positively correlated with serum NT-proBNP, TC, LDL-C, ApoB and ApoB/ApoA (r > 0, P < 0.05), and negatively correlated with ApoA (r < 0, P < 0.05). Conclusion The degree of coronary artery stenosis is correlated with serum NT-proBNP, TC, LDL-C, ApoA, ApoB and ApoB/ApoA.
