Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect of nursing management measures based on failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) on dialysis complications, quality of life and psychological status of maintenance hemodialysis patients, so as to provide basis for clinical treatment. Methods From December 2018 to December 2019, 84 hemodialysis patients in Anqing Municipal Hospital of Anhui Province were selected as study objects. They were divided into the control group and the observation group by random table number method, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, while the observation group was given nursing management intervention based on FMEA model. Both groups were intervened for three months. Psychological status scores, quality of life scores and complications were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results Before intervention, there were no differences in self-rating anxiety acale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS) scores between the two groups (P > 0.05); After intervention, SAS and SDS scores of the two groups were lower than those before intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). Before intervention, there were no significant differences in scores of general state, physical pain, physiological function, role physiological, role emotional, mental health and social function between the two groups (P > 0.05); after intervention, general state, physical pain, physiological function, role physiological, role emotional, mental health and social function in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05). Conclusion The nursing management measures based on FMEA model have significant effect on maintenance hemodialysis patients, which can play a prominent role in improving the quality of life, psychological state and preventing postoperative complications, which can be applied in clinical practice.
