Abstract：Objective To study the distribution of traditional Chinese medicine constitution in cyclomastopathy people through the meta-analysis of relevant clinical studies. Methods The literatures of CNKI, CBM, VIP, Wanfang, Embase and PubMed database from the database creation to October 2019 were searched with “cyclomastopathy” and “constitution” as key words, the data of the distribution of traditional Chinese medicine constitution in cyclomastopathy and non-cyclomastopathy people were extracted, then meta-analysis was performed by Review Manager 5.2. Results Finally 11 literatures were included with 5810 individuals. Meta-analysis results showed that balanced constitution (OR = 0.17, 95%CI: 0.12-0.23, P < 0.000 01) was a protective factor of cyclomastopathy while yang deficiency (OR = 1.46, 95%CI: 1.18-1.81, P = 0.0004), yin deficiency (OR = 1.58, 95%CI: 1.29-1.95, P < 0.0001), qi stagnation (OR = 4.76, 95%CI: 3.43-6.60, P < 0.000 01) and blood stasis (OR = 1.61, 95%CI: 1.24-2.10, P = 0.0004) constitutions were risk factors of it. Conclusion Female with biased constitutions, such as yang deficiency, yin deficiency, blood stasis and especially qi stagnation constitutions are more likely to suffer from cyclomastopathy.
