Research progress on molecular mechanism related pathway of Sishen Pills in the treatment of ulcerative colitis

Abstract:Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic inflammatory disease affecting the colon. Western medicine treatment of UC has disadvantages such as high price and many side effects, etc. As a traditional Chinese medicine, Sishen Pills can effectively treat UC. In terms of molecular mechanism, NF-κB signaling pathway, JAK/STAT signaling pathway, PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathway, Wnt/β-catenin signaling, Th17/Treg signaling pathways, Th1/Th2 signaling pathways. This article mainly investigates the related signaling pathways of Sishen Pills when treating the UC, hoping to provide some experimental basis.
