Abstract:Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases seriously affect people′s health and life in today′s society. They mainly refer to ischemic or hemorrhagic diseases of heart, brain and systemic tissues caused by hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis and hypertension. CD38 is a type Ⅱ transmembrane glycoprotein located on the membrane and its functional structure is relatively complex. Current studies have found that the more complex functions of CD38 make it play an important role in cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Based on the latest domestic and foreign reports, this article briefly reviews the role of CD38 in different cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
