Abstract:Objective To explore the role and relationship between the expression level of tumor necrosis factor-related apoptotic ligand (TRAIL) of membranes and serum inflammatory markers level in the pathogenesis of premature rupture of membranes. Methods From January to December 2019, 80 cases of premature rupture of membranes pregnant women admitted to Huai′an Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital of Jiangsu Province were selected as the research objects. They were divided into full-term premature rupture of membranes group (gestational age≥ 37 weeks, 46 cases) and preterm premature rupture of membranes group (gestational age 28-36+6 weeks, 34 cases). 80 pregnant women of full-term fetal membranes were selected as control group in the same period. TRAIL in membranes tissue and blood related inflammatory markers (neutrophil lymphocyte ratio [NLR], platelet lymphocyte ratio [PLR] and lymphocyte monocyte ratio [LMR]) were measured and the correlation between TRAIL and inflammatory markers in membranes tissue was analyzed. Results The TRAIL positive rate, TRAIL mRNA expression level and serum NLR, PLR, LMR levels in preterm premature rupture of membranes group were higher than those of full-term premature rupture of membranes group and control group(all P < 0.05), and the TRAIL positive rate, TRAIL mRNA expression level and serum NLR, PLR, LMR levels in full-term premature rupture of membranes group were higher than those of control group (all P < 0.05). TRAIL expression level in fetal membranes was positively correlated with serum NLR, PLR and LMR levels (r = 0.543, 0.574, 0.651, all P < 0.05). Conclusion TRAIL and serum-related inflammatory markers are highly expressed in the membranes of women with premature rupture of foetal membranes, and there is a positive correlation between them.
