Abstract:Objective To investgate the influence of Propofol and Dexmedetomidine for intraoperative stress in patients with total intravenous anesthesia undergoing abdominal surgery. Methods From May 2018 to June 2019, 98 cases who underwent abdominal surgery in Shangrao People′s Hospital of Jiangxi Province were selected as study objects. They were divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method, with 49 cases in each group. The control group was given the Propofol anesthesia, while the study group was given the Propofol and Dexmedetomidine anesthesia. The levels of norepinephrine (NE), glucocorticoid (COR), serum angiotensin Ⅱ (A-Ⅱ) and epinephrine (E) at before anesthesia for 5 min (t0), during theskin incision (t1), before operation for 30 min (t2), the end of operation (t3) of the two groups were compared. Results The levels of NE, COR, A-Ⅱ and E of the two groups at t1, t3 were higher than those at t0 (all P < 0.05). There were no statistically significant differences in the levels of NE, COR, A-Ⅱ and E at t0 between the two groups (P > 0.05); and the levels of NE, COR, A-Ⅱ and E at t1, t3 in the study group were lower than those in the control group (all P < 0.05). Conclusion Propofol and Dexmedetomidine in patients with total intravenous anesthesia undergoing abdominal surgery which can effectively inhibit intraoperative stress response and improve surgical safety, thus it is worth promoting in the clinical.
