Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of arthroscopic Fiber Tape circular fixation in the treatment of avulsion fracture at the inferior stop of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). Methods A total of 80 patients with avulsion fracture at the inferior stop of ACL treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from August 2017 to September 2019 were selected and divided into group A (39 cases, open surgical reduction and fixation) and group B (41 cases, arthroscopic Fiber Tape circular fixation) according to different surgical procedures. Perioperative indicators, knee function score, knee range of motion and complications were recorded and compared between the two groups. Results The operative time of group B was shorter than that of group A, and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of group A, with statistically significant differences (all P < 0.05). International knee documentation committee (IKDC) and Lysholm scores of the two groups at one and six months after operation were higher than those before operation, and group B was higher than group A, with statistically significant differences (all P < 0.05). Knee range of motion of the two groups at one and six months after operation were higher than those before operation, and group B was higher than group A, with statistically significant differences (all P < 0.05). Conclusion Arthroscopic Fiber Tape circular fixation in the treatment of avulsion fracture at the inferior stop of ACL has a short operation time, less intraoperative blood loss, and can promote the recovery of the knee joint of patients, with fewer postoperative complications.
