Effects of evidence-based nursing intervention combined with personalized health education on stress psychology and self-management ability of patients with acute pancreatitis

Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing intervention combined with personalized health education on stress psychology and self-management ability of patients with acute pancreatitis. Methods A total of 90 patients with acute pancreatitis admitted from January 2018 to December 2019 in the Affiliated 3201 Hospital of Medical College of Xi′an Jiaotong University, were selected as the research objects. They were divided into control group and observation group by a digital random table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group adopted routine nursing intervention, while the observation group implemented evidence-based nursing intervention combined with personalized health education on the basis of the control group. The two groups compared the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), self-rating depression scale (SDS) and self-management ability score scale score before and after 4 weeks of intervention, patient health knowledge mastery, compliance, and nursing intervention satisfaction were analyzed. Results The SAS and SDS scores of the two groups after intervention were lower than those before the intervention, and the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After intervention, the scores of self-management capacity index such as restrictive behavior, management behavior, psychological activity and state management were higher than before intervention, and the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The health knowledge mastery, compliance and nursing intervention satisfaction of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Evidence-based nursing intervention combined with personalized health education can effectively improve the anxiety and depression of patients with acute pancreatitis and enhance their self-management ability.
