Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of systematic first aid nursing intervention on the resuscitation, survival rate and parental satisfaction of children with neonatal asphyxia. Methods From January 2017 to December 2019, 90 neonatal asphyxia children admitted to the Neonatal Department of Xijing Hospital, Air Force Medical University were selected as the research object, and they were divided into control group of 42 cases and observation group of 48 cases according to the random number table method. The control group adopted routine rescue nursing intervention, and the observation group implemented systematic emergency nursing intervention. Rescue time, 5 min Apgar score, hospital stay and other treatment indicators, resuscitation rate and mortality rate, and parental nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The rescue time and hospital stay of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the 5 min Apgar score was higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). The resuscitation rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group within 5 minutes, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). The comparison of resuscitation rate and mortality rate within 10 minutes between the two groups showed no statistically significant difference (P > 0.05). Parents′ nursing satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of systematic first aid nursing intervention in newborn asphyxia children has a good effect on the efficiency of rescue, the survival rate of children and the satisfaction of parents′ nursing, which is worthy of popularization and application.
