Abstract:Objective To research and evaluate the current status of Chinese medicine service capacity in a district of Beijing, and to provide a reference for improving the service capacity of Chinese medicine. Methods According to the characteristics of Chinese medicine hospitals and community health service centers, through the literature policy research and expert consultation, the evaluation system of Chinese medicine service capacity was built, respectively. From 2017 to 2018, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 33 Chinese medicine hospitals and 44 community health service centers in the district to analyze the main characteristics of the data and differences in indicators. Results The evaluation system of Chinese medicine service capacity included 4 first-level indicators, with 40 Chinese medicine hospitals and 25 community health service centers. In 2018, the number of hospital Chinese medicine medical technology development projects was more than in 2017, the proportion of Chinese patent medicine prescriptions was lower than that in 2017, while the hospital medical, outpatient, inpatient, total income were higher than those in 2017, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). The total number of clinicians, the number of clinicians and the total number of outpatient drug prescriptions in 2018 were higher than those in 2017, while the proportion of prescriptions for proprietary Chinese medicines in the community in 2018 was lower than that in 2017, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05 or P < 0.01). Conclusion The coverage of Chinese medicine services in this area is relatively high, the outflow of hospital outpatients is obvious, while the income is optimistic. There are problems such as the unreasonable use of medical resources.
