Abstract:Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is a chronic sleep disordered breathing disease which is increasingly common in adults. Sleep-disordered breathing plays an important role in the cardiovascular system, and OSAHS patients with coronary heart disease are also increasing. However, OSAHS is still unclear about the occurrence and development of coronary heart disease, and still considerable controversy in treatment. This article reviews the progress on the incidence, severity and prognosis of OSAHS and coronary heart disease.
