Abstract:Objective To explore clinical effect and safety of Ginkgo Biloba Extract Injection combined with Cinepazide Maleate in the treatment of sudden deafness (SD). Methods From January 2017 to January 2019, 102 cases of SD patients admitted to Panjin Central Hospital of Liaoning Provimce, according to the random number table method, which were divided into control group (51 cases) and observation group (51 cases). The control group was treated with Cinepazide Maleate, and the observation group was treated with Ginkgo Biloba Extract Injection on the basis of the control group. The two groups were treated for 2 weeks. Clinical efficacy was evaluated after treatment. The hearing threshold levels, peripheral blood levels of CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+ and the levels of serum endothelin (ET), soluble vascular cell adhesion molecule (sVCAM), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-8 (IL-8), matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) of the two groups were compared before and after treatment. The adverse reactions of the two groups during the treatment were recorded and compared. Results The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (P < 0.05). The hearing threshold levels of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment (P < 0.05), and the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05). The peripheral blood levels of CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ of the two groups after treatment were significantly higher than before treatment (P < 0.05), the peripheral blood levels of CD8+ were significantly lower than before treatment (P < 0.05), while CD3+, CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ of the observation group were significantly higher than the control group after treatment (P < 0.05), and CD8+ was significantly lower than the control group (P < 0.05). The levels of serum ET, sVCAM, TNF-α, IL-8 of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment (P < 0.05), the levels of serum MMP-9 were significantly higher than before treatment (P < 0.05), while ET, sVCAM, TNF-α and IL-8 in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group (P < 0.05), and MMP-9 was significantly higher than the control group (P < 0.05). During treatment, there was no severe adverse reaction of the two groups. Conclusion Ginkgo biloba Extract Injection combined with Cinepazide Maleate on SD has significant effect, can promote hearing, improve the immune function and inner ear microcirculation, reduce the inflammatory response, and has good safety.
