Abstract:Objective To explore and evaluate the methods and effects of the standardized training for new nurses in integrated Chinese and Western medicine hospitals. Methods The newly recruited nwrses from Beijing Hepingli Hospital in August 2016 were selected, on the basis of combining the reality of the hospital established with characteristic of combining traditional Chinese and Western medicine hospital new nurse training program, take the three stages of standardization training for a period of two years, focuses on the theory of traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing knowledge, skills, training such as operation and clinical practice ability, and at each stage before and after training to design the paper make a comprehensive evaluation. Results After the standardized training, the new nurses′ level of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing knowledge and operation skills were significantly higher than before the training, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). In the standardized intensive training stage, the nursing comprehensive scores were all improved compared with those at the admission stage, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Standardized training can effectively improve the theoretical knowledge and operational skills of traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing for new nurses to a certain extent.
