Abstract:A blended learning model was designed to foster the professional English proficiency among militaries medical cadets in hope that they can become eligible military doctors capable of completing international exchanges and overseas missions. Micro-lectures, combined with classroom teaching and micro-lectures competitions, performed from the perspective of "mutual integration", they are the main features highlighted in this model. Feedbacks from two experimental classes, which included 80 students admitted in grade 2013 and grade 2014 respectively, they are collected after teaching-practice for two consecutive years. The results showed that this blended teaching approach could affect cadets cognition of their future jobs, reinforce their knowledge of the military medical care in foreign countries, and help them adapt to a renewed thinking pattern in the digital age.
