Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of lumbar disc herniation treated with posterior spinal fusion and instrumentation in pedicle. Methods 87 cases patients received treatment in Jianyang TCM Hospital from March 2013 to September 2016 of disc herniation were divided into control group (43 cases) and experimental group (44 case) by random number table. Patients in the experimental group were treated by pedicle screw fixation, while patients in the control group were treated with disc hermetination paste. The scores of JOA, ODI and VAS, clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared. Results There was significant difference between the two groups before and 6 months after treatment, the JOA, ODI and VAS scores in the two groups were better than those before treatment, and scores in the experimental group was superior to the control group (P < 0.05). After treatment, the effect of experimental group was better than that in control group (P < 0.05). The statistical difference was not statistically significant between two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion The effect of lumbar disc herniation treated with posterior spinal fusion and instrumentation in pedicle is better, which has a clinical reference value.
