Abstract:Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy of Qufeng Lishi Mixture in treating fengshi yunfu-type atopic dermatitis. Methods Seventy-two patients with fengshi yunfu-type atopic dermatitis admitted to Department of Dermatology of Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September 2015 to February 2016 were selected and divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method, with 36 cases in each group. The experimental group was treated with oral adminstration of 30 mL Qufeng Lishi Mixture, twice a day; the control group was treated with oral adminstration of 10 mg Cetirizine Hydrochloride, once a day. Both groups were given Chloramphenicol Dexamethasone Cream for external use, twice a day. The course of the two groups was both 4 weeks. The changes of visual analogue scale (VAS), the percent of itching time (PIT), eczema area and severity index (EASI) integral before and after the treatment and the clinical efficacy in the two groups were observed. Results After treatment, the VAS score, PIT value and EASI integral in two groups were all lower than those before treatment (P < 0.01). The PIT value and EASI integral in the experimental group after treatment were lower than those of control group (P < 0.01). The total effective rate of experimental group and control group was 82.4% and 64.5% respectively, but there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups (P > 0.05). The cured and markedly effective rate of experimental group (50.0%) was significantly higher than that of control group (22.6%) (P < 0.05). Conclusion Qufeng Lishi Mixture in the treatment of fengshi yunfu-type atopic dermatitis has good clinical efficacy, which can significantly improve the degree of pruritus and skin lesions.
