Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture and massage combined with acupoint injection on nerve function and motor function of paralysis patients with craniocerebral trauma. Methods Two hundred and fifty-six paralysis patients with craniocerebral trauma admitted to Intensive Care Unit, West China Hospital, Sichuan University from January 2016 to December 2017 were selected as research objects and divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 128 cases in each group. Both groups were given routine Western medicine treatment, on basis of which, the observation group was added with acupuncture and massage combined with acupoint injection. The clinical curative effect and functional recovery conditions of the two groups were observed and analyzed after treatment for 28 days. The data was analyzed by SPSS 19.0 software. Results After treatment, the total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Compared with before treatment, the aphasia score and Fugl-Meyer assessment (FMA) score in the two groups were significantly improved after treatment, while National Institute of Health stroke scale (NIHSS) score was significantly reduced after treatment, the differences were all statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the aphasia score and FMA score in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, NIHSS score was significantly lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Acupuncture and massage combined with acupoint injection in the treatment of paralysis patients with craniocerebral trauma has a significant effect, which can effectively promote language ability and intelligence, and significantly improve the degree of nerve damage and motor function, with high safety, thus it is worthy of clinical optimization and promotion.
