Abstract：To find out the difficulties and problems in the development of traditional Chinese medicine in Zhoukou, and put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions for the decision of the party committee and government. In December 2017, the Health and Family Planning Commission conducted an in-depth study on the development of traditional Chinese medicine medical institutions. As the results of the surveys, the development of traditional Chinese medicine in the city still exists problems such as the support policy not being satisfactorily implemented, shortage of technicians, lacking of confidence in the development of traditional Chinese medicine and lacking of attention on traditional Chinese medicine in the general hospital. It can be solved through the method of Perfecting the development policy of traditional Chinese medicine, promoting the construction of Chinese medicine service system, Strengthening the construction of the talent team and strengthening the confidence of traditional Chinese medicine.
