Abstract:Malignant ovarian tumor, its insidious onset and high recurence rate that leads to a high death rate, threatens women′s health. However, early discovery and treatment can obviously increase a patient′s life span, improve present situation and prevent future disease. So, the problem that image examination and clinical work face together is how to use image examination to find the primary affection, metastatic lesion as well as select appropriate treatment. With the rapid updated improvement of technology and equipment of multi-slice spiral CT, multi-slice spiral CT keeps the conventional CT′s basic function, and at the same time it has its superiorities, like high resolution of time and space, high scanning speed and multi-parameter imaging, which greatly improves the sensibility and accuracy of clinical diagnosis. The examination of multi-slice spiral CT provides basis for maliganat ovarian tumors′ diagnosis, clinical stages, post-treatment evaluation, and it can reduce total radiation dose without affecting image quality.
