Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of butylphthalide on acute cerebral infarction complicated with mild cognitive dysfunction. Methods From June 2017 to March 2018, 120 patients with acute cerebral infarction combined with mild cognitive impairment who were hospitalized in the Second Department of Internal Medicine of Jizhou District Hospital in Hengshui City, Hebei Province were selected. According to the random number table, all patients were divided into observation group and control group, each group of 60 cases. The control group received the routine drug treatment, the observation group was treated with Batylphthdide on the basis of ontrol group, two groups received continuous treatment of 14 d. After treatment, the scores of the mini-mental state examination (MMSE) and the clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in MMSE scores before treatment between the two groups (P > 0.05). The time, place, instant memory, attention and computational power, delayed memory, language and visuospatial scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). After treatment, the total clinical efficacy of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). Conclusion The efficacy of Butylphthalide in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction complicated with mild cognitive impainnent is definite, which can significantly improve the cognitive dysfunction of patients and is worthy of wide clinical application.
