Abstract：Ge Hong, a physician of the Jin Dynasty, discussed in detail the moxibustion treatment of cholera in Zhouhou Beiji Fang, and Beiji Qianjin Yao Fang and Waitai Miyao quoted the text a lot. By studying the content of moxibustion to cure cholera after death in the three books, it was found that there were textual differences in the descriptions of the “moxibustion therapy for resurrecting cholera” and “Hua Tuo’s treatment for cholera after death”. Referring to the Yixin Fang, it was believed that the acupoints measurement in the “moxibustion therapy for resurrecting cholera” should be based on the “renkou” standard. The positioning for moxibustion in “Hua Tuo’s treatment for cholera after death” should be more accurately based on the recorded information in Beiji Qianjin Yao Fang and Waitai Miyao. Moreover, the measurement of the jiaji should be one cun, which is more reasonable. By examining the relationship between Zhouhou Beiji Fang, Beiji Qianjin Yao Fang, Waitai Miyao, and Yixin Fang, this paper aims to analyze the accuracy of the texts, explore the reasons for the differences, and provide references for clinical applications.
