Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of multi-disciplinary team (MDT) on the incidence of high rate cases. Methods The data came from the hospital of municipal medical insurance system. A total of 33 263 medical records of medical insurance settlement discharged from a hospital from May to June 2021 and from May to June 2022 were taken as the research object, among which 17 683 medical records of medical insurance settlement discharged from May to June 2022 were taken as the intervention group, and 15 580 medical records of medical insurance settlement discharged from May to June 2021 were taken as the control group. Set up an MDT management team, formulate measures through MDT meetings, implement them in collaboration with multiple departments, and the incidence of high rate cases in the two groups was observed. Results The incidence of high rate cases in the intervention group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total hospitalization cost, drug cost, consumables cost, drug proportion, and consumption proportion in the intervention group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The average length of stay in the pre-treatment group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The MDT management mode under the diagosis-related groups payment can reduce the incidence of high rate cases, and is an effective management method under the diagosis-related groups payment.
