Abstract:Objective To analyze the application effect of rehabilitation training based on health belief in patients with femoral neck fracture after traffic accident. Methods The study was a prospective randomized controlled trial involving 100 patients with femoral neck fracture who underwent artificial hip replacement at West China Hospital of Sichuan University from September 2021 to May 2022. Randomized number table method was used to divide the control group (50 cases) and the experimental group (50 cases). The control group was given routine rehabilitation training intervention, and the experimental group was given rehabilitation training intervention based on health belief. Both groups were interfered for four weeks. Harris hip function score, rehabilitation nursing activities of daily living (RNADL) rating scale and, self-care agency scale-revised(ASAS-R-C) scores were recorded before and after intervention. The nursing compliance and complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results After six months of follow-up, Harris hip function score, and RNADL score in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and those of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After four weeks of intervention, the ASAS-R-C scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and those of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). At discharge, the nursing compliance of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Rehabilitation training based on health belief can accelerate hip function recovery, improve self-care ability, activities of daily living ability, and nursing compliance of patients after femur neck fracture caused by car accident.
