Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of thumbtack needling therapy on clinical symptoms and inflammatory factors in unstable angina pectoris with syndrome of blood stasis due to qi deficiency in patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods According to the random number table method, 112 unstable angina pectoris patients with syndrome of blood stasis due to qi deficiency with coronary heart disease after PCI in Tangshan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Hebei Province from March 2021 to March 2022 were divided into control group (56 cases) and study group (56 cases). The control group was treated with routine treatment, and the study group was treated with routine treatment and thumbtack needling therapy. Both two groups were treated for one month. The curative effect was compared between the two groups, and the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, inflammatory factor levels were compared between the two groups before and after treatment, and the occurrence of adverse events was recorded. Results The clinical efficacy of the study group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of chest stabbing pain, chest distress, shortness of breath, malaise, palpitations, pale complexion, and burnout in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein, human cartilage glycoprotein, and interleukin-6 in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). No serious adverse events occurred in the two groups during the treatment. Conclusion The thumbtack needling therapy can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of unstable angina pectoris with syndrome of blood stasis due to qi deficiency in patients with coronary heart disease after PCI, reduce the levels of inflammatory factors, and has high safety.
