Abstract:This paper introduces the research, and development background, design features, indications, and contraindication, technical operation, and precautions of iTClamp, a new type of tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) hemostatic device for the foreign army. The safety, effectiveness, and practicability of iTClamp in clinical application are analyzed, and the clinical characteristics, application principle and research status of iTCLamp in foreign countries are discussed. This paper points out its shortcomings and further research direction, and provides reference for developing special equipment for craniomaxillofacial and neck trauma bleeding control based on the principle of hydrostatic pressure in China.
