Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of Qingfei Huatan Decoction in treating infantile Mycoplasmal pneumoniae pneumonia with wind-phlegm obstruction of lung syndrome. Methods Eighty-four cases of infantile Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia with wind-phlegm obstruction of lung syndrome admitted to Rugao Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Jiangsu Province from June 2017 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into the control group and the study group by random number table method, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine on the basis of basic treatment, and the study group was treated with Qingfei Huatan Decoction on the basis of control group. After two weeks of treatment, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, efficacy, serum levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6), hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), and immunoglobulin (Ig) A, IgM were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the scores of principal syndrome and secondary syndrome in both groups were lower than before treatment, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Serum levels of IL-6 and hs-CRP in two groups after treatment were lower than before treatment, and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The serum IgA and IgM levels of the two groups were higher after treatment than before, and those of the study group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The clinical efficacy of the study group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Qingfei Huatan Decoction in the treatment of infantile Mycoplasmal pneumoniae pneumonia with wind-phlegm obstruction of lung syndrome is helpful to improve the therapeutic effect and good safety.
