Abstract:Cerebral infarction is a common disease in neurology, with high incidence rate and high mortality, which seriously threatens human health. The etiology and pathogenesis of cerebral infarction are complex and varied, doctors of all dynasties have different opinions. Professor Cui, who has been engaged in the study of internal medicine for many years, believes that the core pathogenesis of cerebral infarction is “deficiency of yuan qi, static blood blocking collateral”, and deficiency, stasis, phlegm, and turbidity are the main pathological factors. Professor Cui proposes to take “benefiting qi for activating blood circulation, removing turbidity for removing obstruction in collaterals” as the basic treatment principles. Clinical treatment of cerebral infarction not only pays attention to the deficiency, stasis, phlegm, turbidity single disease evil nature changes, but also pay attention to their mutual combination of the change of pathogenesis. Therefore, when applying the basic principle of “benefiting qi for activating blood circulation, removing turbidity for removing obstruction in collateral”, the prescription Yiqi Tongmai Formula is formulated by add or subtract as required according to the course of disease, the changes of syndromes and years of clinical experience. The effect is remarkable when it is used in clinic.
