Abstract:Functional exercise of traditional Chinese medicine is closely related to adolescents’ constitution health. It has a positive impact on adolescents’ heart rate and respiration regulation, physical fitness improvement, exercise function, harmonizing qi and blood, and can significantly improve adolescents’ obesity, sub-health, myopia, exercise fatigue, and other states. Its effect mainly about the coordination of mind, qi, and force, pays attention to the integration of action, application, and medical science, and regulation of mental activity and nourishment of spirit. Adolescents’ scientific practice of functional exercise of traditional Chinese medicine can also play a role in keeping healthy without disease, preventing disease first, and preventing disease from changing. However, in recent years, relevant studies are mainly carried out from the perspectives of physiology, pathology, and emotion, and there are some problems such as small sample size, short intervention time, lack of quantification of effect, and mechanism of action. In the future, it is necessary to strengthen the mechanism elaboration and publicity of the influence of functional exercise of traditional Chinese medicine on adolescents’ constitution.
