Abstract:Candida mycoderma bacteria is an opportunistic pathogen, which is one of the main causes of vulvovaginitis. With the wide use of genomics tools, the important and complex role of vaginal fungal community in human health and disease are increasingly recognized. Exploring the fungal species, functions and interactions with different microbial species in vaginal microecosystem is very important for the treatment and prevention of vaginitis and cervical diseases, and the improvement of pregnancy outcomes and reproductive health. This paper reviews the role of candida mycoderma bacteria in female health and disease.
