Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of transcranial direct current stimulation combined with auditory integration training in the treatment of language retardation. Methods A total of 148 children with language retardation who were admitted to the Hunan Children’s Hospital from May 2020 to July 2021 were selected as the research object. They were divided into observation group (74 cases) and control group (74 cases) by random number table method. The control group received transcranial direct current stimulation, and observation group received auditory integration training on the basis of control group. Both groups were treated for three months. The mental development, language development quotient (DQ), oral motor function, articulation ability before and after treatment, and clinical efficacy were compared between two groups. Results After treatment, the scores of personal-social behavior, adaptive behavior, language behavior, language DQ, oral motor function, and articulation ability of two groups were higher than those before treatment, and those of observation group were higher than those of control group (P<0.05). The clinical efficacy of observation group was better than that of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Transcranial direct current stimulation combined with auditory integration training in the treatment of children with language retardation has a definite effect, which can improve their intellectual development, language ability, oral motor function, and phonological ability.
