Abstract：At present, the incidence of rhinitis in children is increasing gradually, and it may be closely related to environmental factors. However, because children are more difficult to describe symptoms, parents are less likely to find it, and often delay the condition. Professor Xu Rongqian believes that rhinitis, especially allergic rhinitis, is a precursor to the onset of cough variant asthma and asthma in children. Therefore, the treatment of rhinitis is of great significance in preventing the onset of asthma. The nose is the body of the lungs, and there are many diseases in children′s lungs. Therefore, it is very important to look for the nose. The inspection of traditional Chinese medicine in children is often limited to looking at the colors, looking at the form, observing the eyes and looking at the tongue, observing the nasal shape and nasal secretions, etc. In view of the diagnosis of respiratory diseases in children, Professor Xu Rongqian pays special attention to the diagnosis of the internal examination of children′s nasal cavity, and puts forward a special "nasal cavity examination for children". In this paper, Professor Xu Rongqian′s progress in the treatment of rhinitis is summarized by examining the nasal mucosa.
