Abstract:Objective To analyze the allocation of health resources in 16 districts of Beijing in 2020, and to provide suggestions for optimizing the allocation of health resources. Methods Principal component analysis, factor analysis, and cluster analysis were carried out for 9 major indicators that had significant influence on the allocation of health resources in 16 districts of Beijing (Dongcheng District, Xicheng District, Chaoyang District, Fengtai District, Shijingshan District, Haidian District, Mentougou District, Fangshan District, Tongzhou District, Shunyi District, Changping District, Daxing District, Huairou District, Pinggu District, Miyun District, and Yanqing District) from January to December 2020, the status quo and difference of the allocation of health resources in different districts were compared. Results The resource allocation of medical and health institutions was influenced by two principal components. The health resource factors and institutional allocation factors were obtained by factor analysis, which were consistent with the results of principal component analysis. The 16 districts were divided into four types through clustering, namely core district, economic district, development district, and suburban district. Conclusion The 16 districts need to plan the allocation of health resources rationally, and strengthen the input of health human resources and the construction of medical alliances, improving the allocation of resources and the quality of medical care, so as to promote the improvement of the overall quality of health resources in Beijing.
