The template takes “meridian - acupoint - treat” as the core of the idea, and according to the style form and content characteristics of ancient books of acupuncture and moxibustion, set up 15 metadata: name, meridian, acupoint, synonym, interpretation, location, function, indications, concerted application, acupuncture technique, moxibustion, other therapies, curative effect, prognosis, contraindications, applied to the online indexing of ancient books of acupuncture and moxibustion. The construction and application of this template can provide examples for the research on the indexing of ancient books of acupuncture and moxibustion, which is conducive to the discovery of acupuncture and moxibustion knowledge.
