[Abstract]
Abstract:Low-intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) is an economical and safe physical therapy, and usually used to treat bone discontinuities and tissue healing. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are important seed cells in regenerative medicine with high self-renewal and multi-directional differentiation ability. The combined application of LIPUS and MSCs can regulate the proliferation, migration, cell activity, multi-directional differentiation and other abilities of MSCs, effectively promote the regeneration of MSCs in bone, cartilage, blood vessels, nerves, and other tissues, and inhibit the regeneration of adipose tissue. Therefore, this article reviews the mechanism of LIPUS regulating the repair and regeneration of MSCs in different tissues in recent years, provides theoretical basis for the continuous research and clinical transformation of LIPUS in the field of tissue regeneration.
