Abstract:Objective To explore the study on characteristics of acupuncture and moxibustion formulas for spastic cerebral palsy via association rules and complex network analysis. Methods The clinical literatures on acupuncture and moxibustion for spastic cerebral palsy from CNKI, Wanfang Data, VIP, China Biomedical Literature Database, PubMed, and Web of Science were searched until May 2022. The Apriori algorithm was used to analyze the compatibility of core acupoints with association rules. The Gephi 0.9.6 software was used to analyze the core acupoint group and the characteristics of acupuncture and moxibustion through complex network. Results A total of 293 literatures were included, and 639 acupuncture and moxibustion prescriptions were extracted. The traditional acupoints with the highest relevance are zúsānlǐ-sānyīnjiāo, and the Jin’s Three-needling acupoints are Sishen-points, and the sensory area, balance area, movement area, and operation area of the foot in the Jiao’s head needle were consistent with each other. The core acupoint groups of the three types of complex network prescriptions mainly include bǎihuì, zúsānlǐ, sānyīnjiāo, hégǔ, qūchí, movement area, balance area, foot sensation area, yánglíngquán, temporal acupuncture, and moxibustion, etc. There are various acupuncture and moxibustion methods. Conclusion In the treatment of spastic cerebral palsy, acupuncture and moxibustion focus on the coordination of traditional acupoints with tou acupuncture and Jin’s Three-needling, mainly on the head acupoints targeted at the root of the lesion, and with the local selection of acupoints of the paralyzed limbs, so as to achieve the purpose of harmonization of form and spirit.
