Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of intervention based on self-regulation learning theory on health literacy and quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure. Methods A total of 120 patients with chronic heart failure who were admitted to Tangshan People’s Hospital from September 2018 to January 2021 were selected, and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was given routine intervention, and the observation group was given a self-regulation learning theory on the basis of the control group. The effects of health literacy, self-burden and quality of life before and after intervention were compared between the two groups, and the rate of re-hospitalization within six months after discharge. Results After intervention, the scores of functional health literacy, interactive health literacy, and critical health literacy on the health literacy scale of the two groups were higher than before intervention, and the observation group was higher than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the physical burden, emotional burden, and economic burden score of the self-burden scale in the two groups were lower than those of before the intervention, and the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the scores of physical, emotional, and other domains in the quality of life scale of the two groups were lower than those of before the intervention, and the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The readmission rate within six months after discharge in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of the intervention based on self-regulation learning theory in patients with chronic heart failure can significantly improve the health literacy of patients, reduce the sense of self-burden, at the same time, the quality of daily life can be significantly improved, and the short-term readmission rate after discharge is lower.
