Abstract:Objective To observe the effects of Dexmedetomidine (Dex) on myocardial protection as well as serum miRNA-30a and miRNA-30b of elderly patients undergoing stage Ⅰa cervical cancer surgery. Methods A total of 60 elderly patients who underwent stage Ⅰa cervical cancer surgery in Guigang People’s Hospital, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region from January 2021 to March 2022 were selected as object of observation. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and experimental group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given total intravenous anesthesia by Propofol combined with Remifentanil target controlled infusion, while the experimental group was given Dex according to 0.8 μg/kg by intravenous pumping from 15 min before induction of anesthesia to 10 min after the induction, and 0.4 μg/(kg·h) was maintained until 30 min before the end of surgery, and other anesthesia methods were the same as those in the control group. The heart rate (HR) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) of two groups were compared immediately after intubation (T0), 10 min after skin incision (T1), and at the end of surgery (T2); serum creatine kinase (CK), creatine kinase MB isoenzyme (CK-MB), miR-30a, and miR-30b were compared between two groups at 15 min before surgery and 6, 12, and 24 h after surgery. Results At T1 and T2, HR and MAP in both groups were lower than those at T0, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); HR and MAP of experimental group were lower than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). At 6, 12, and 24 h after surgery, CK, CK-MB, and miR-30a were higher than those at 15 min before surgery, while miR-30b was lower than that at 15 min before surgery, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); CK, CK-MB, miR-30a, and miR-30b of experimental group were lower than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Dex has a good protective effect on the myocardium of elderly patients undergoing stage Ⅰa cervical cancer surgery, and can reduce the expression levels of serum miR-30a and miR-30b.
