Abstract:Objective To investigate the prognostic factors of patients with open eye injury with orbital fracture. Methods Sixty-six patients with open eye injury with orbital fracture in Tangdu Hospital, Air Force Military Medical University from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into poor prognosis group (25 cases) and good prognosis group (41 cases) according to different prognosis. The clinical data of the two groups were compared. Logistic regression model was used to analyze the prognostic factors of patients with open eye injury with orbital fracture. Results The proportion of age<60 years old, the proportion of no intraocular foreign body, the proportion of no intraorbital, external, and superior bone wall fractures, and the proportion of eye trauma rating of 3-5 at the time of treatment in the poor prognosis group were lower than those in the good prognosis group, and the proportion of non-blunt trauma was higher than that in the good prognosis group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The results of multivariate analysis showed that age, cause of injury, foreign body in the eye, fracture site, and evaluation grade of eye trauma at the time of treatment were all factors influencing the prognosis of patients with open eye injury and orbital fracture (P<0.05). Conclusion By analyzing the prognostic factors of patients with open eye injury with orbital fracture, this study provides a reliable theoretical basis for improving the clinical therapeutic effect and prognostic recovery of this disease.
