Abstract:Objective To discuss the influencing factors of health education effect in children with tethered cord syndrome. Methods A total of 120 children with tethered cord syndrome in Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected. According to the effect of health education, they were divided into satisfied group and unsatisfied group. The factors that influence the effect of health education were analyzed. Results A total of 90 cases were satisfied with the effect of health education. There were statistically significant differences in the course of disease, guardian education, guardian status, mental resilience, and family function between two groups (P<0.05). The course of disease, guardian education, guardian status, mental resilience, and family function were the factors influencing the effect of health education (P<0.05). Conclusion There are many factors influencing the effect of health education for children with tethered cord syndrome. It is of great significance to give health education to different groups.
