Abstract:To analyze the Professor Zhu Shengliang’s prescription and medication rules for gastroesophageal reflux disease based on data mining. Methods The effective first-diagnostic prescriptions of Professor Zhu Shengliang in the Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Specialist Clinic, Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2011 to December 2021 was collected. The Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assistance Platform (V2.5) software was used to analyze the four nature of drugs and five flavours, the effect of channel tropism and the prescription and medication rules based on frequency analysis, association rules, improved mutual information method, and complex system entropy clustering algorithm, and to carry out visualization processing. Results A total of 354 effective prescriptions were included, involving 110 traditional Chinese medicines and 22 high-frequency drugs (≥90 times). The prescription drugs were mainly warm, cold, plain as a supplement; the five flavours were mainly bitter, pungent, and sweet. The channel tropism was mainly spleen, stomach, and liver channels. Traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation included syndrome of heat stagnation in liver and stomach, syndrome of middle-deficiency and reversed flow of qi, syndrome of phlegm qi depression and blockade, etc. A total of 15 core Chinese medicines, 14 core combinations, 7 new prescriptions. Conclusion Professor Zhu Shengliang pays attention to regulating qi in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease. He often uses the methods of invigorating the spleen and dispersing the stagnated liver-energy, relieving the gastric disorder and purgative, clearing heat and dissipating phlegm, nourishing yin and relieving pain, which can provide reference for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease with traditional Chinese medicine.
