Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of information management on continuous quality improvement of hemodialysis. Methods A total of 160 patients with maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) who had regular dialysis in the Blood Purification Center of Beijing East District First People’s Hospital of Beijing from March 2020 to February 2021 were selected as the research objects. The transformation of the work efficiency of medical staff in hemodialysis room, the changes of dialysis related management indicators and the incidence of adverse events in MHD patients before and after the implementation of information management for six months were observed. Results After the trial, the average time of preparation and prescription for each patient was shorter than that before the trial, and the difference was highly statistically significant (P<0.01). The time of data collection, data analysis and evaluation after treatment were shorter than those before the trial, and the differences were highly statistically significant (P<0.01). After the trial, the conforming rates of HGB, Ca, P, and iPTH were higher than those before the trial, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05 or P<0.01). There was no significant difference in the number of dialysis units before and after the trial (P>0.05). The frequency of hypotension and the occurrence rate of hypotension after the trial were lower than those before the experiment, and the differences were highly statistically significant (P<0.01). The incidence of heart failure after the trial was lower than that before the trial, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Information management can not only improve the work efficiency of medical staff, but also significantly improve the quality control index of hemodialysis in MHD patients and reduce the incidence of adverse events in MHD patients, so as to promote the continuous quality improvement of blood purification.
