Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of Ropivacaine combined with Sufentanil or Fentanyl in labor analgesia. Methods Ninety healthy pregnant women who underwent labor analgesia in the Affliated Drum Tower Hospital of Nanjing University Medical School from August 2017 to August 2020 were selected as subjects. They were divided into study group (45 cases, given Ropivacaine combined with Sufentanil for epidural labor anesthesia) and control group (45 cases, given Ropivacaine combined with Fentanyl for epidural labor anesthesia). The pain conditions of 5, 20, 40, and 60 min analgesia were compared between two groups; the labor time of two groups was recorded. Apgar scores 1 and 5 minutes after birth were measured of two groups; the adverse reactions of two groups were observed. Results Comparison of numerical rating scale (NRS) scores at different time points between two groups showed statistically significant differences (P<0.05); the NRS scores of study group were lower than those of control group at 20, 40, and 60 min analgesia (P<0.05). The first stage of labor and the second stage of labor in study group were shorter than those in control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in Apgar score 1 and 5 min after birth (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The analgesic effect of Ropivacaine combined with Sufentanil in perinatal labor is better than that of Ropivacaine combined with Fentanyl and helps shorten the first stages of labor and second stages of labor.
