The mechanism and research progress of pyroptosis in arthritis

Abstract:Pyrodeath is a particular type of programmed cell death. It is regulated by the pyroporin family and is characterized by membrane perforation, cell swelling, and the release of a large number of pro-inflammatory factors. Relevant studies have shown that the key components of pyroptosis are closely related to the occurrence and development of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and gouty arthritis. This article mainly reviews the molecular mechanism of pyroptosis activation and its mechanism and progress in arthritis, aiming to provide reference for the related research of pyroptosis and arthritis.
