Abstract:Objective To probe the effect of closed loop management of breastfeeding in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patient children. Methods A total of 377 premature infants admitted to NICU of Taizhou Hospital in Zhejiang Province from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected, according to the random number table method, they were divided into the conventional group (190 cases) and the closed-loop management system group (187 cases), two groups were given routine intervention and breastfeeding closed-loop management system. Breastfeeding self-efficacy, skills, knowledge, and time ability were compared between the two groups, the development of preterm infants was assessed, and the breastfeeding rate in different periods was analyzed. Results After intervention, the head circumference of preterm infants in the two groups was greater than that before intervention, and the height and weight of preterm infants in the closed-loop management system group were higher, while the height and weight of preterm infants in the conventional group were higher than those in the conventional group(P<0.05); the scores of inner activity, skills and total scores, feeding skills, feeding knowledge, and practical ability in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the closed-loop management system group was higher than the conventional group (P<0.05). The scores of inner activity, skills and total scores, feeding skills, feeding knowledge, and practical ability of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and the closed-loop management system group was higher than the conventional group (P<0.05); the first breastfeeding age, exclusive breastfeeding time, and intravenous nutrition time in the closed-loop management system group were shorter than those in the conventional group, and the feeding intolerance was lower than that in the conventional group (P<0.05). The breastfeeding rate during hospitalization and one month after discharge in the closed-loop management system group were higher than those in the conventional group (P<0.05). Conclusion Closed-loop breastfeeding management system is established for premature infants in NICU to reduce their intolerance to breastfeeding and promote their development. Significantly improve the self-efficacy of maternal breastfeeding, improve the rate of breastfeeding, effectively help maternal breastfeeding to establish a positive attitude, high clinical application value.
