Abstract:Objective To observe the effects of improved nutritional pathway management on nutritional indexes and grade of kobuta water swallow test in patients with dysphagia after ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 198 stroke patients with dysphagia admitted to the Department of Neurology of Wuxi People’s Hospital, Jiangsu Province from January 2019 to April 2021 were selected, they were divided into control group and observation group, by random number table method, with 99 cases in each group. The control group received conventional nutrition management, and the observation group received improved nutrition path management, hemoglobin (Hb), prealbumin (PA), albumin (Alb), and swallowing function of the two groups were compared. Results After nursing, the levels of Hb and Alb in control group were higher than before nursing, the levels of Hb, PA and Alb in observation group were higher than before nursing, and the observation group was higher than control group (P<0.05); the kobuta water swallow test grading of the two groups was better than before nursing, and the observation group was better than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Improved nutritional pathway management can improve the nutritional status and swallowing function of stroke dysphagia, which has a certain nursing reference value.
