Abstract：Objective To investigate the specific measures and effects of comprehensive care during the treatment of patients with novel Bunyavirus infection. Methods One hundred and one patients with novel Bunyavirus infection who were treated in Jiangsu Provincial People’s Hospital from July 2020 to November 2021 were selected and divided into two groups using the random number table method. The control group (50 cases) was given conventional care and the observation group (51 cases) was given all-round care. The improvement of psychological condition, complications, and nursing satisfaction were observed and compared between the two groups. Results After the intervention, the scores of self-assessment anxiety scale and self-assessment depression scale in both groups were lower than before the intervention, while those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05); the scores of psychological resilience scale in both groups were higher than those before the intervention, while that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). After the intervention, the scores of health education, psychological guidance, service attitude, nursing skills, and nursing effect were higher in both groups than before the intervention, while those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05). Conclusion Holistic care for patients with novel Bunyavirus infection has been shown to improve psychological status, reduce complications, and result in higher satisfaction with care.
