Abstract:Objective To investigate and study the effectiveness and value of the application of exercise therapy combined rehabilitation care based on the principles of hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods Ninety maintenance hemodialysis patients treated at Bozhou People’s Hospital in Anhui Province from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and the patients were included in the observation group and control group by the random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The observation group used exercise therapy and rehabilitation care based on HACCP principles for intervention during dialysis, while the control group used conventional nursing intervention during dialysis. The residual renal function indicators and quality of life scores were collected before and after the intervention, and the occurrence of dialysis-related complications during the treatment intervention were also collected. Results After the intervention, the creatinine (Cre) level in both groups were lower than those before the intervention, while that in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05); the CCr in both groups were higher than before the intervention, while that in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After the intervention, the physiological condition, psychological condition, management behavior, and restrictive behavior of both groups were higher than those before the intervention, while those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The incidence of dialysis complications during treatment in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Exercise therapy combined rehabilitation care based on HACCP principles have good intervention effects on maintenance hemodialysis patients, which can effectively improve patients’ residual renal function indexes while enhancing their quality of life, reduce dialysis-related adverse effects, and help patients establish correct disease cognition, and have good application value in nursing practice.
