Professor Huang Shijing’s experience in the treatment of encephalopathy by using the Peiyuan Tongzhi Method

Abstract：Professor Huang Shijing is clinically good at the prevention and treatment of encephalopathy in traditional Chinese medicine. Based on the theory of the pathogenesis of encephalopathy of “deficiency of qi caused stagnation”, he uses Peiyuan Tongzhi Method to treat a variety of neurological diseases, such as depression, leukoencephalopathy, stroke, and so on. He summarizes the three treatment methods of Yiqi Kaiyu, Peiyuan Tongnao, and Guben Jiedu, which are rich in content, outstanding in levels and remarkable in efficacy, and enrichis the connotation of Peiyuan Tongzhi Method. Professor Huang Shijing is good at estimating the “deficiency” and “stagnation” of diseases in clinical practice, understanding the characteristics of syndromes, adding and subtracting drugs with syndromes, and the model of diseases, syndromes, and symptoms combination has a higher and more practical modern clinical reference value, and this paper attaches a case for the reader.
